La propuesta se presenta como un ejercicio de reinterpretación de la tipología de corrala, adaptándola a la normativa actual y buscando generar una arquitectura de vivienda social que propicie el encuentro entre los residentes a través de la potenciación del espacio común en torno al patio.
Dicha interacción entre los diferentes usuarios no irá nunca en detrimento del espacio privado necesario para la consecución de las viviendas. Así pues el conjunto del edificio deberá ser entendido como simbiosis entre lo colectivo y lo individual, buscando crear entre los vecinos un sentimiento auténtico de pertenencia a la comunidad.
La intervención presenta dos lenguajes diferenciados en función de las situaciones a las que da respuesta:
Exterior - Calle: Corredores exteriores puntuales y mayor opacidad.
Interior - Patio: Corredores exteriores en repetición y mayor permeabilidad.
Las viviendas propuestas surgen como consecuencia directa de las relaciones exterior-interior propuestas entre la calle y el patio, se materializan por tanto como filtro entre ambos conjuntos. La resolución del espacio destinado a las 31 viviendas propuestas trabaja siempre la dualidad entre exterior e interior.
De esta manera la construcción de las diferentes plantas responde, en la mayoría de los casos, al apilamiento de un mismo tipo de vivienda y la simetría de la misma, generando así corredores en ambas fachadas de cada bloque.

The proposal is presented as an exercise in reinterpreting the corrala typology, adapting it to current regulations and seeking to generate a social housing architecture that encourages the encounter between residents through the enhancement of the common space around the patio.
Said interaction between the different residents will never go to the detriment of the private space necessary to achieve the dwellings. Thus, the building as a whole should be understood as a symbiosis between the collective and the individual, seeking to create among the users an authentic feeling of belonging to the community.
The intervention presents two differentiated languages depending on the situations to which it responds:
Exterior - Street: Specific exterior corridors and greater opacity.
Interior - Courtyard: Exterior corridors in repetition and greater permeability.
The proposed dwellings arise as a direct consequence of the proposed exterior-interior relations between the street and the patio, thus materializing as a filter between both sets. The resolution of the space destined for the 31 proposed homes always works with this duality between exterior and interior.
In this way, the construction of the different floors responds, in most cases, to the stacking of the same type of dwelling and its symmetry, thus generating corridors on both facades of each block.
